These three companies—Ola Electric, Ather Energy, and Greaves Electric Mobility—together sold 13,660 units in January 2025, making up 63.71% of total market sales.
Overall, about 21,441 electric two-wheelers were sold in January 2025, showing a strong preference for EVs as a cleaner and more cost-effective alternative to fuel-powered vehicles. The lower operating costs of electric two-wheelers, along with rising fuel prices, make them an attractive option for daily commuters.
Other manufacturers like Pur Energy, BGauss Auto, TVS Motor Company, Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility, Simple Energy, and Hero MotoCorp also contributed to market growth. Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility sold 503 units, demonstrating its role in providing electric mobility solutions.
Smaller players, including Okinawa Autotech, Lectrix EV, and KLB Komaki, are also expanding their presence in the market. These companies are focusing on innovation and sustainability, helping to build a strong foundation for the future of electric transportation in India.
