Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Limited (WIML), a leading electric vehicle manufacturer under the brands ‘Joy e-bike’ and ‘Joy e-rik,’ recorded an impressive 18.76% year-on-year growth in electric two-wheeler sales. The company sold 3,830 units in January 2025, up from 3,225 units in the same month last year. Additionally, Wardwizard expanded its footprint in the electric three-wheeler segment, selling 22 units under the ‘Joy e-rik’ brand for both passenger and commercial use.
Commenting on the growth, Mr. Yatin Gupte, Chairman & Managing Director of WIML, stated, “We have begun 2025 on a strong note with an 18.76% growth in electric two-wheeler sales, reflecting growing consumer trust in the Joy e-bike brand while accelerating the shift towards sustainable mobility. With the government’s continued focus on strengthening the EV ecosystem, we remain optimistic about sustained industry growth.”
Further solidifying its position in the EV industry, Wardwizard recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with C4V, a New York-based lithium-ion battery technology company. This strategic collaboration aims to advance battery cell technology, optimizing electric vehicle performance and supporting India’s vision for sustainable mobility.
With rising consumer demand and strong government support for clean transportation, Wardwizard’s latest sales figures reaffirm its role as a key player in India’s evolving EV landscape.
