VinFast Unveils VF 6 and VF 7 Electric SUVs for Indian Market at Bharat Mobility Expo 2025

Vietnamese electric vehicle (EV) pioneer and Nasdaq-listed automaker, VinFast, has officially entered the Indian market by unveiling its first right-hand drive electric SUVs, the VF 6 and VF 7, at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The launch signifies a bold step toward VinFast’s commitment to advancing sustainable transportation in one of the world’s largest automotive markets.

A Milestone for Electric Mobility in India

The VF 6 and VF 7, categorized as B-segment and C-segment SUVs respectively, have been tailored specifically for Indian consumers. These models promise to deliver cutting-edge technology, premium design, and a seamless driving experience, setting a new benchmark for green transportation in India.

“This event marks a significant milestone as we introduce our premium SUVs for India, a market ripe for EV transformation,” said Pham Sanh Chau, CEO of VinFast Asia. “We are confident that the VF 6 and VF 7 will be game changers, accelerating EV adoption in the country and reinforcing our vision for sustainable and intelligent mobility.”

India-Centric Features and Global Vision

The VF 6 reflects the “Duality in Nature” design philosophy, combining sophistication with fun and technological innovation with human-centric design. Meanwhile, the VF 7, inspired by “Asymmetric Aerospace,” boasts a bold exterior, a powerful engine, and an interior focused on driver comfort and advanced technology.

Both models are expected to hit the market in the second half of 2025. “We are rapidly building an omni-channel presence and appointing dealers across major Indian cities,” added Ashwin Ashok Patil, Deputy CEO of Sales – Marketing at VinFast India.

A Comprehensive Showcase of Electric Mobility

In addition to the VF 6 and VF 7, VinFast showcased its wider EV portfolio at the expo, including the VF 3, VF e34, VF 8, VF 9 SUVs, electric scooters like Evo 200 and Theon, the DrgnFly electric bike, and the VF Wild pickup truck concept.

VinFast also highlighted its progress in establishing a manufacturing plant in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu. The facility is expected to boost local production, cater to growing EV demand, and support VinFast’s global sustainability goals.
