EKA Mobility, a leading innovator in electric vehicles, has launched the most comprehensive range of electric commercial vehicles in India, marking a significant milestone in the country’s push toward sustainable transportation. The unveiling took place at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, showcasing a lineup that spans electric buses, trucks, and small commercial vehicles (SCVs), designed to address diverse transportation needs across logistics, urban mobility, and public transport.
The new range includes more than 11 distinct platforms, including electric buses, trucks, and SCVs, tailored to meet the growing demand for eco-friendly solutions in long-haul logistics, last-mile connectivity, and public transit. EKA Mobility also introduced EKA Connect, a fleet management platform that uses real-time data analytics to optimize vehicle performance, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure maximum uptime for businesses and transport operators.
Dr. Sudhir Mehta, Founder and Chairman of EKA Mobility, expressed the company’s commitment to building a sustainable mobility ecosystem. “Our latest range of electric vehicles reflects our dedication to delivering innovative, cost-effective, and eco-friendly solutions that can transform public transportation and logistics. We aim to accelerate India’s green revolution and lead the transition to electric mobility,” he stated.
EKA Mobility is positioning itself as a global leader in electric commercial vehicles, focusing on modular platforms, carbon-neutral manufacturing, and proprietary EV technologies for smarter, safer mobility. The company’s initiatives are contributing to India’s sustainability goals, including savings of ₹200 Cr in fuel costs, benefiting 1.7 crore passengers daily, and reducing 4.2 lakh tons of CO₂ emissions — the equivalent of planting 2.3 crore trees.
The expanded electric bus portfolio includes five models tailored to various passenger transportation needs:
- EKA COACH: India’s first fully stainless-steel electric luxury bus for long-distance travel.
- EKA 12M: A high-capacity urban transit bus offering advanced safety features and energy efficiency.
- EKA 9M: A mid-sized commuter bus with ergonomic seating and climate control.
- EKA LF (Low Floor): A city bus designed for enhanced accessibility.
- EKA 7M: A compact electric bus for feeder services and hilly terrains.
In the electric truck segment, EKA introduced two models:
- EKA 55T: A heavy-duty electric truck designed for long-haul logistics with a 200 km range and a 43,000 kg payload capacity.
- EKA 7T: A mid-range electric truck optimized for urban logistics with a 200 km range and 3,500 kg payload.
Additionally, the company unveiled six electric SCV models catering to various cargo and passenger mobility needs:
- EKA 3.5T, 2.5T, and 1.5T: Electric cargo vehicles for urban logistics.
- EKA 3W CARGO: A three-wheeler designed for last-mile deliveries.
- EKA 6S: A sustainable shared mobility solution for public transport.
- EKA 3S: An eco-friendly passenger three-wheeler for urban commuting.
