Lectrix, the e-mobility arm of the SAR Group, achieved a historic milestone by delivering 114,985 meals in just eight hours using its fleet of electric vehicles, including the latest NDuro scooter. The ambitious initiative, titled “1 Lakh Meals on Lectrix Wheels,” combined cutting-edge electric mobility with a humanitarian mission, earning accolades from the Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records.
This groundbreaking operation, executed in collaboration with Navodyam (an SDMC Trust initiative), the Robin Hood Army, and The Akshay Patra Foundation, demonstrated the potential of sustainable technology to address pressing social issues. From 10 AM to 6 PM, hundreds of Lectrix vehicles crisscrossed Delhi, delivering meals to 106 communities.

By delivering over 1 lakh meals using electric vehicles, we showcased how green technology can create meaningful change—even in emergencies or pandemic scenarios.”
The operation started at Akshay Patra’s four kitchens, where meals were prepared and dispatched to 11 strategically located hubs. From these hubs, Lectrix’s fleet, including NDuro scooters and e-loaders, transported meals efficiently. NDuro’s 42-litre boot space and impressive speed and range proved instrumental in the operation’s success.
Over 500 volunteers, including Lectrix team members and the Robin Hood Army’s Robins, worked tirelessly to execute the plan, underscoring the power of collaboration and community.
