In a bid to enhance the convenience of electric vehicle ownership, Ford has announced the extension of its Ford Power Promise initiative through March 31, 2025. The program, launched to address barriers to EV adoption, offers a complimentary home charger and standard installation to customers who purchase or lease select Ford electric vehicles.
Key Features of the Ford Power Promise
- Complimentary Home Charger & Installation: Customers purchasing or leasing the Mustang Mach-E, F-150 Lightning, or E-Transit Cargo Van are eligible for a free home charger and standard installation.
- Streamlined On-the-Road Charging: The BlueOval Charge Network, including access to Tesla Superchargers, ensures convenient and seamless long-distance journeys with the FordPass app’s Plug and Charge feature.
- Battery Confidence: Ford offers an eight-year/100,000-mile high-voltage battery warranty, giving customers peace of mind.
- Round-the-Clock Support: A dedicated support team provides 24/7 assistance, including roadside charging support.
Aimed at Reducing EV Adoption Barriers
The Ford Power Promise stems from customer and dealer feedback about challenges in transitioning to electric vehicles. By addressing practical concerns such as home charging and battery reliability, Ford aims to attract a wider audience to its EV lineup.
This promotion is available to retail customers who purchase or lease a 24MY or 25MY Mustang Mach-E, F-150 Lightning, or E-Transit Cargo Van from participating Ford dealerships.
With record year-over-year sales of Ford electric vehicles in 2024, the automaker’s extended commitment to simplifying EV ownership underscores its vision for a more sustainable future.
