Honda is set to make history at the 2025 Rose Parade with its spectacular float, “Electrified Dreams,” and an unprecedented fully electric vehicle fleet. Celebrating its global goal of achieving zero emissions across all mobility products and business operations by 2050, Honda will showcase its sustainability efforts while inspiring millions with a dazzling display of technology, performance, and entertainment.
For the first time in the Rose Parade’s 136-year history, an all-electric fleet will lead the procession. Featured vehicles include Honda’s first all-electric SUV, the Honda Prologue, the powerful Acura ZDX Type S, and the ultra-compact Honda Motocompacto e-scooter. This electrified lineup underscores Honda’s bold strides toward a carbon-neutral future while providing a dynamic, fun-filled mobility experience for parade attendees.
Jennifer Symington, Assistant Vice President of Marketing for American Honda, emphasized Honda’s vision, stating: “The Rose Parade is an annual opportunity for Honda to celebrate The Power of Dreams and, this year, the power of ‘electrified dreams’ that reflect our commitment to sustainable mobility. With our Honda Prologue, Acura ZDX, and Motocompacto e-scooter, we aim to inspire audiences with a glimpse of a cleaner, electrified future that still delivers excitement and fun.”
Float Design and Opening Spectacular
The “Electrified Dreams” float is designed to symbolize harmony between nature and technology. Featuring elements of LED lights, roses, and symbolic organic materials, it represents Honda’s dedication to environmental preservation and sustainable innovation.
The float will take center stage during the Rose Parade Opening Spectacular, titled “Best Day Ever.” The performance will feature exhilarating Xtreme athletes, trampolines, pyrotechnics, and chart-topping musical acts. Iconic performers Aloe Blacc—renowned for his viral hit “Wake Me Up”—and Billboard dance sensation Kiesza will energize audiences with unforgettable live performances.
