Tivolt Electric Vehicles, a Murugappa Group venture and subsidiary of TI Clean Mobility, has partnered with Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL) to advance e-mobility for commercial vehicles in India. The collaboration leverages TPREL’s expertise in EV charging infrastructure and Tivolt’s expanding network of small electric commercial vehicles. Together, they aim to establish a reliable and accessible EV charging ecosystem across Tivolt dealerships, customer sites, and high-traffic public spaces. The MoU was signed by senior leaders from both companies, reflecting their shared commitment to promoting sustainable transportation.

As part of this initiative, TPREL will explore integrating solar energy systems at Tivolt locations to power charging stations, reducing costs and environmental impact. This builds on TPREL’s experience in deploying 200+ customized EV charging stations in over 100 cities, including major hubs like Mumbai, Delhi, and Bengaluru. By combining solar power with EV charging, the partnership not only supports India’s transition to cleaner energy but also makes electric vehicles more affordable and sustainable for commercial use.
