Tesla has announced its production and delivery figures for the third quarter of 2024, highlighting continued strong performance in both categories. The company produced approximately 470,000 vehicles and delivered around 463,000 vehicles during the quarter. Additionally, Tesla deployed 6.9 GWh of energy storage products.
Breaking down the figures, Tesla’s Model 3 and Model Y vehicles accounted for the bulk of production and deliveries, with 443,668 units produced and 439,975 units delivered. Vehicles under operating lease accounting represented 3% of the total. The remaining production came from Tesla’s other models, with 26,128 units produced and 22,915 delivered, with 1% subject to operating lease accounting.
Tesla is set to release its full financial results for Q3 2024 on Wednesday, October 23, after market close. The company will provide a link to the Q3 2024 update on its Investor Relations website.
