Maruti Suzuki India Limited, the nation’s largest carmaker, reported total sales of 184,727 units for September 2024. This includes domestic sales of 148,061 units, sales to other OEMs amounting to 8,938 units, and robust exports totaling 27,728 units.
Despite challenging market conditions, the automaker continues to lead the Indian automotive sector, supported by its broad range of vehicles and increasing international demand. Maruti Suzuki’s strong export figures in September reflect the company’s growing global footprint.
Additionally, the company corrected a reporting error from its previous press release. One unit was erroneously over-reported in the Compact segment, while one unit was under-reported in the Utility Vehicle (UV) segment. The revised figures have been accurately reflected in this release.
Maruti Suzuki remains optimistic about continued growth, particularly with the festive season expected to boost demand in the coming months.
