Honda Cars India Ltd., a prominent manufacturer of premium cars in India, reported total sales of 10,911 units for the month of September 2024. This includes 5,675 units sold in the domestic market and 5,236 units in exports.
The company’s sales performance reflects a significant surge in consumer interest, largely attributed to the launch of their annual festive campaign, The Great Honda Fest, and the introduction of the new Apex Edition of the Honda Elevate. Both initiatives have garnered a positive response from customers, driving showroom footfalls and enquiries.
Commenting on the sales performance, Mr. Kunal Behl, Vice President of Marketing & Sales, Honda Cars India Ltd., said, “Our festive campaign has been well-received, and with the upcoming Navratra, Dussehra, and Diwali festivities, we anticipate even stronger consumer demand. This period presents a great opportunity to further boost our sales.”
In comparison, Honda had recorded 9,861 units in domestic sales and 1,310 units in exports during September 2023, marking a notable increase in export figures this year. The company expects the festive season to further propel growth and maintain momentum in the coming months.
