Nissan launched the updated Magnite compact SUV in India, marking a key milestone in its strategy to position the country as a major manufacturing hub under the Arc, Nissan’s mid-term business plan. The new Magnite, featuring bold styling, cutting-edge technology, and enhanced safety features, will be produced in India and exported to over 65 global markets, with Nissan aiming to ship nearly 100,000 units by 2026.

This export expansion, set to include left-hand drive markets starting in 2025, underscores Nissan’s broader vision of making India a central hub for vehicle production. The Magnite’s sleek design boasts LED lights, alloy wheels, roof rails, and innovative features like a wireless smartphone charger, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and an air ionizer for cabin freshness. Enhanced with reinforced safety, including six airbags across all variants, the Magnite also offers an efficient 1.0-liter turbocharged engine, making it ideal for urban driving.

Since its launch in 2020, the Magnite has sold over 150,000 units across India and select international markets, and the new model is poised to reach even greater heights as exports expand into left-hand drive regions.
