In an exciting announcement for the motorsport world, Red Bull and Ford Motor Company have confirmed the extension of their title partnership for the Red Bull Ford Academy Programme into the 2025 season. This collaboration further underscores Ford’s dedication to fostering diversity in motorsports, particularly through initiatives aimed at increasing female participation.
Chloe Chambers, an American driver with experience in USA F4, the W Series, and the F1 Academy, will join the Red Bull Ford Academy team for the 2025 season. Chambers’ addition to the team reflects the perfect synergy of an American driver teaming up with an iconic American automotive brand. Currently driving in the F1 Academy for Haas and Campos Racing, Chambers will make her debut for the Red Bull Ford Academy in 2025, further strengthening Ford’s presence in global motorsports.
Ford’s involvement in the Red Bull Ford Academy Programme is part of a broader effort to promote female talent in motorsport. Mark Rushbrook, Global Director of Ford Performance Motorsport, praised Chambers’ talent, stating, “To have an American driver representing an iconic American brand is the perfect scenario for us and we are excited for all that 2025 will hold.”
Chambers will also participate in the Mustang Challenge’s final round at the 2024 SRO Indianapolis 8 Hour, adding another milestone to her already impressive career.
As Ford and Red Bull continue their partnership, the focus remains on offering more racing opportunities to emerging talent, with Ford set to make its full return to F1 in 2026. Christian Horner, CEO & Team Principal of Oracle Red Bull Racing, expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “Red Bull and Ford share common values and are united in providing more opportunities for young and emerging talent in motorsports.”
Chambers is set to take the next step in her career, as she partners with Ford in pursuit of greater diversity in motorsport while continuing to compete in the F1 Academy in 2024 with Haas.
