Kia Charge is Kia’s all-in-one charging service for Europe, catering to both public and business customers. Now available to over 100,000 subscribers, the service provides access to 800,000 AC and DC charging points across 28 European countries—a 10% increase from Q2 2024 and a 39% jump from Q2 2023.
Kia Charge users have completed more than 2.5 million charging sessions, using either their Kia Charge card or the app. The service boasts a take-rate of 42% this year, with a customer satisfaction rate of around 75%.
To further enhance convenience, the Kia EV Route Planner automatically detects and adds charging stations as waypoints along the route. Kia’s Plug & Charge feature simplifies the process even more, allowing customers to charge their EV by simply plugging it in—no card or app needed for authentication.“As more electric vehicles take to the road, it’s important to match this uptake with an increasing number of charging points, to help our customers easily charge their vehicles,” said Martin Enthofer, Director Customer Experience Strategy and Solutions at Kia Europe. “Kia continues to set the benchmark for making electric driving more accessible to a wider range of audience, with Kia Charge helping to simplify and enhance every journey.”
