Pak Suzuki Partners with University of Agriculture Faisalabad for Biogas Research and Development

Pak Suzuki Motor Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, has entered into a strategic collaboration with the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF) to advance research and development in biogas technology. The two parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on September 19, 2024, at the UAF campus. The signing ceremony was attended by Hiroshi Kawamura, Managing Director of Pak Suzuki, and Professor Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan, Vice Chancellor of UAF.

The MoU outlines a comprehensive plan for cooperative research on biogas technology and organic fertilizers, a commercial feasibility study of the project, and the exchange of resources and information. This partnership aims to contribute to socio-economic development and support Pakistan’s efforts toward achieving carbon neutrality.

Commenting on the collaboration, representatives from both Pak Suzuki and UAF expressed optimism about the potential of biogas technology to positively impact Pakistan’s energy landscape and environmental sustainability.
