Mercedes-Benz, India’s top luxury carmaker, has unveiled the EQS SUV 580 4MATIC, strengthening its Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) lineup. The EQS SUV combines cutting-edge technology, sustainability, and luxury, appealing to customers seeking a premium electric vehicle. With this launch, Mercedes-Benz now offers six electric models in India, including the EQA, EQB, and the ultra-luxury Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV 680.
In addition to the EQS SUV 580 4MATIC launch, Mercedes-Benz announced the start of local production of this model from its state-of-the-art Chakan facility in Pune, making India the first country outside the United States to manufacture this vehicle. This marks a significant milestone in the company’s 30-year journey in India, underlining its commitment to the market and its advanced manufacturing capabilities.
