Yuma Energy, a leading battery-as-a-service (BaaS) company in India, has achieved a significant milestone by surpassing one million monthly battery swaps within just 18 months of operation. This rapid growth demonstrates the company’s success in addressing a critical market need with its innovative technology and high-quality service.
Yuma Energy has expanded its reach to 10 major cities across India, with the latest launch of its Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) in Hyderabad, Telangana. The company’s focus on intelligent and data-driven expansion has led to a doubling of its urban footprint this year. It now operates in six metros and four non-metros, serving over 100,000 two-wheeler EV riders through its network of 175+ battery-swapping stations.
Muthu Subramanian, General Manager and Managing Director of Yuma Energy expressed his pride in the company’s achievement and emphasized its commitment to solving charging infrastructure gaps and range anxiety for EV riders. He also announced plans to expand Yuma Energy’s BaaS service to include a broader range of EV categories and to further expand its network and operations across India.
