The recent tour, traversing three countries—from the Bavarian Alps, through Austria’s Tyrol, to the Dolomites in Italy—demonstrated the exhilarating driving experience offered by BMW’s M automobiles, all equipped with in-line six-cylinder engines.
Journey Begins in Bavaria: A Dynamic Start
The adventure commenced at Lake Tegernsee, with gusty winds and low-hanging clouds setting a dramatic tone. The convoy, featuring the BMW M440i xDrive Convertible, M440i xDrive Coupé, and the BMW Z4 M40i Pure Impulse Edition, soon crossed into Austria. Despite the grey skies, the engines’ power and precision quickly dispelled any sense of gloom.
