Amara Raja Energy & Mobility has celebrated a major achievement with the grand inauguration of its first Li-ion Battery Pack Assembly Plant. The company also marked a significant step forward in the energy sector by laying the foundation stone for a new Li-ion Cell Manufacturing Customer Qualification Plant at the Gigacorridor in Divitipalli, Telangana.
The inauguration event was graced by prominent figures from both the industry and government sectors. Vikramadithya Gourineni, Executive Director of Amara Raja Energy & Mobility, highlighted the significance of these developments, stating, “We take great pride in establishing world-class manufacturing units. The Customer Qualification Plant (CQP) is the first of its kind in India and will help us develop the perfect cell chemistry for each customer’s requirement.”
