The Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) has issued an open tender for the procurement of 30 ready-built electric air-conditioned buses. The buses will be 9 meters in length and feature a 2×3 seat layout, intended to enhance the public transportation fleet in the state.
The total tender value is ₹36 crore, with a tender fee of ₹29,500. The Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) amount is set at ₹36,00,500.
Interested bidders are required to submit their bids in two covers: the first for technical qualifications and the second for the financial bid. The tender document sale and bid submission began on August 15, 2024, with a closing date of September 6, 2024. The bids will be opened on September 6, 2024, at 4:00 PM in Lucknow.
A pre-bid meeting will be held on August 27, 2024, at the UPSRTC Headquarters in Lucknow. The tender is a key step in UPSRTC’s initiative to modernize its fleet and contribute to sustainable urban mobility.
