In a nostalgic celebration of Mustang’s 60th anniversary, Ford is releasing a brand-new digital gauge cluster for all 2024 Mustang owners. Inspired by the beloved 1999 to 2001 Mustang SVT Cobra, this latest cluster will feature classic white dials during daylight hours, with a sleek transition to icy blue backlighting at night.

Available to all seventh-generation Mustang owners, this update showcases the vehicle’s cutting-edge 12.4-inch digital instrument panel, which allows drivers to switch between a variety of customized animated designs, drive-mode visuals, and digital gauges. The 2024 Mustang boasts the most technologically advanced cockpit in Mustang history, designed with a driver-first mindset.

The SVT Cobra-themed cluster will officially go live on Woodward Dream Cruise weekend, activating at 12:00 a.m. ET. This release follows an earlier update in April, which brought back the 1967-1968 Mustang gauges. Mustang owners can enable these iconic designs by scrolling through cluster themes on their center screen.

Ford’s over-the-air software updates ensure these retro gauge clusters, along with future updates, can be accessed without requiring a dealership visit. Owners can simply enable automatic updates in the Software Updates Settings menu, ensuring their Mustang remains as iconic on the inside as it is on the outside.
