In celebration of 60 years of Mustang, Ford has announced the release of a limited-edition Mustang 60th Anniversary package, featuring the return of the iconic Brittany Blue paint color. This classic hue, first offered in 1967, will be available to a select few as part of a small batch of the Mustang 60th Anniversary model.

Only 1,965 units of the 60th Anniversary Mustang will be produced, paying homage to the model’s inaugural year in 1965. The limited-edition vehicle will come with several exclusive features, including 20-inch Dark Gravity Gray wheels with a retro-themed center cap, unique side graphics, and a serialized 60th Anniversary badge.

“Mustang has thrived for 60 years by taking risks and giving customers something a little bit different,” said Joe Bellino, Mustang brand manager. “With the Brittany Blue edition, we’re offering our customers the chance to stand out in the rarefied ranks of Mustang 60th Anniversary owners.”

The package will only be available with the Fastback body style and a 10-speed automatic transmission. It will also include performance upgrades like Brembo brakes and an Active-Valve Performance Exhaust, as well as interior refinements such as Space Gray upholstery and a 12-speaker B&O sound system.

Customers interested in purchasing the Mustang 60th Anniversary package in Brittany Blue can register their interest on Ford.com between August 16 and 19. Notifications will be sent out to selected buyers by August 21, with the final price for this exclusive model set at $65,245.

In a further nod to Mustang’s rich heritage, Ford is introducing a new digital gauge cluster inspired by the 1999-2001 Mustang SVT Cobra. The cluster will feature white dials during the day and an icy blue backlight at night, available through a software update for all 2024 Mustang owners.

The Brittany Blue Mustang will be on display at the 2024 Woodward Dream Cruise in Michigan, offering fans a first-hand look at this tribute to Mustang’s storied legacy.
