In a landmark move for the automotive industry, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., Honda Motor Co., Ltd., and Mitsubishi Motors Corporation have signed a memorandum of understanding to explore a framework for advancing automobile intelligence and electrification. This collaboration builds on the agreement previously signed by Nissan and Honda, marking a significant step towards achieving carbon neutrality and a zero-traffic-accident society.
The three companies are poised to integrate their technologies and expertise to accelerate environmental and electrification initiatives. This joint effort aims to create new value and enhance business efficiencies by leveraging the unique strengths and knowledge of each company.
Strengthening Synergies
Nissan and Honda have been in discussions to explore broad areas of collaboration, including environmental and electrification technologies and software development.
