Ecozen, a leader in climate-smart technology, has announced a strategic investment in Volektra, a trailblazer in electric vehicle (EV) technology. The partnership, supported by a consortium of investors including Thinkuvate, Growthfactory, and other stakeholders, aims to transform the global electric vehicle landscape.

The collaboration will leverage Ecozen’s expertise in advanced motors, controls, IoT, and analytics alongside Volektra’s innovative magnet-free motor technology, known as SEEM (Sustainable Electric Energy Motor). Unlike traditional EV motors that depend on rare earth magnets, Volektra’s SEEM technology offers a more sustainable and performance-enhancing solution, promising high efficiency, reduced costs, and minimal environmental impact.

Volektra’s Founder and CEO, Manish Seth, highlighted the advantages of the SEEM technology: “Our magnet-free motor technology eliminates the need for rare earth minerals, maintaining cost-effectiveness and performance while contributing to a cleaner environment. Volektra is committed to driving the future of sustainable transportation through innovative, affordable, and high-performance EV conversion kits.”

Devendra Gupta, CEO and Co-founder of Ecozen, emphasized the significance of the investment: “Ecozen has consistently led in sustainability with our climate-smart technology. Our investment in Volektra represents a pivotal moment in redefining electric mobility. By removing the reliance on rare-earth magnets, we’re enhancing efficiency and advancing toward a more sustainable future in transportation.”

Prateek Singhal, COO and Co-founder of Ecozen, added, “This partnership with Volektra is a strategic alignment of our shared vision for sustainable mobility. Combining our technological strengths will push the boundaries of innovation and open new market opportunities. Together, we are poised to make a transformative impact on the future of transportation.”

As part of the collaboration, Ecozen’s controllers will be integrated into Volektra’s Vollkits, which convert traditional micro-vehicles into electric powerhouses. These plug-and-play conversion units, featuring Volektra’s proprietary VSAC (Volektra Smart Acceleration Control) technology, have seen success in the European market with over 20,000 three-wheelers and numerous e-bikes powered by their first-generation drivetrain.

The strategic investment positions Ecozen and Volektra to set new standards in electric vehicle technology, driving the shift towards sustainable transportation solutions.
