BMW Motorrad India has introduced its first electric scooter, the all-new BMW CE 04, marking a significant step in the realm of premium electric mobility in India. Available as a Completely Built-up Unit (CBU) in select metropolitan cities, deliveries for the urban electric scooter will commence from September 2024.

Design and Features:
- The BMW CE 04 boasts a sleek design with large, calm surfaces contrasted by sharp edges. It features powerful LED lighting, a floating seat, and practical storage compartments.
- Available in two color options: Light White (base variant) and Imperial Blue Metallic (Avantgarde style).
- Equipped with a 10.25-inch TFT color split screen for the instrument cluster, offering Bluetooth connectivity and a watertight, ventilated storage compartment for smartphones.
Performance:
- Powered by a liquid-cooled electric motor delivering 42 hp (31 kW), the BMW CE 04 can accelerate from 0 to 50 km/hr in just 2.6 seconds, with a top speed of 120 km/hr.
- The lithium-ion battery provides a range of 130 km and consumes 7.7 kWh/100 km. It comes with a complimentary 2.3 kW home charger, taking 3 hrs 30 mins for an 80% charge. An optional BMW Wallbox charger is also available.
Safety and Riding Modes:
- The scooter features a double disc brake at the front, a single disc brake at the rear, and BMW Motorrad Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) for enhanced safety.
- Three riding modes are available: ECO, Rain, and Road. Additional options like Riding Modes Pro, Headlight Pro, ABS Pro, Adaptive Headlights, and Daytime Riding Light are available with the Dynamic Package.
Comfort and Customization:
- Optional ‘Comfort Package’ includes heated grips and a backrest comfort seat.
