TVS Motor Company recorded monthly sales of 333,646 units in June 2024, reflecting a 5% growth compared to 316,411 units in June 2023. In particular, EV sales grew by 10%, with sales rising from 14,462 units in June 2023 to 15,859 units in June 2024.
The company’s total exports were 76,074 units in June 2024, down from 79,144 units in June 2023. Two-wheeler exports recorded 66,434 units in June 2024, compared to 68,568 units in June 2023. Despite robust customer retails, challenges in container availability due to prevailing conditions in the Red Sea affected export performance.In the first quarter of FY 2024-25, two-wheeler sales grew by 15%, from 9.18 lakh units in the first quarter of FY 2023-24 to 10.56 lakh units. Three-wheeler sales were 0.31 lakh units in the first quarter of FY 2024-25, compared to 0.35 lakh units in FY 2023-24. Total exports grew by 12%, from 2.27 lakh units in the first quarter of FY 2023-24 to 2.54 lakh units in the current quarter.
