Tech Mahindra, a global leader in technology consulting and digital solutions, has announced the inauguration of a new Business Processing Services (BPS) centre in Riga, Latvia. The expansion into the Baltic States marks a significant step in Tech Mahindra’s strategy to enhance its global footprint and deliver innovative technology solutions worldwide. The centre was officially opened by Mr. Tanmaya Lal, Ambassador of India to the Republic of Latvia & Sweden, Mr. Jurģis Miezainis, Parliamentary Secretary of the Ministry of Economics, Republic of Latvia, and Mr. Vilnis Ķirsis, Mayor of Riga.
This strategic move will bolster Tech Mahindra’s presence in Europe, providing local and regional clients direct access to a wide array of services including 5G, Metaverse, Blockchain, Quantum Computing, Cybersecurity, and Artificial Intelligence. The new facility is housed within the state-of-the-art Jaunā Teika complex, setting a benchmark for Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services in the region.

The centre is expected to employ around 500 professionals, contributing to Tech Mahindra’s global workforce of over 145,000 employees across 90+ countries.

Tech Mahindra’s new office in Jaunā Teika demonstrates its commitment to environmental sustainability, boasting BREEAM certification for sustainable building design. The complex features extensive electric vehicle charging infrastructure, ample multi-story parking, and flexible office layouts tailored to diverse operational needs.
