Revfin, India’s leading digital lending platform dedicated to sustainable mobility, has launched the ‘Jagriti Yatra Abhiyaan’ at The Taj, Lucknow. This initiative, following the successful #RevfinBharatYatra campaign, is branded under the slogan “Zimmedari Ki Sawaari” and aims to accelerate electric vehicle (EV) adoption in Uttar Pradesh. The campaign aligns with the state’s goal to achieve 100% EV usage in government departments by 2030, promoting financial and social empowerment, and advancing towards net-zero targets.

At the event, Revfin’s Founder & CEO, Sameer Aggarwal, emphasized Uttar Pradesh’s significant investments in charging infrastructure and the expanding opportunities within the state’s EV ecosystem. A panel discussion titled “RevUp Uttar Pradesh: Collaborative Strategies for Accelerating EV Adoption and Sustainable Mobility” featured over 30 EV dealers and industry leaders, highlighting the importance of collaborative growth.

Aggarwal articulated his ambitious vision for the campaign, stating, “Uttar Pradesh holds a pivotal role as a flagship state for Revfin, significantly contributing to our business. Revfin aims to disburse loans totaling Rs. 3000 crore across various cities in Uttar Pradesh by capturing 20% market share by 2027. With our Jagriti Yatra Abhiyaan, we seek to raise awareness and promote EV adoption throughout the state. Our primary goal is to revolutionize sustainable mobility, presenting electric vehicles as ‘Zimmedari Ki Sawaari,’ not only reducing carbon emissions but also fostering social and financial empowerment.”

Uttar Pradesh, a state leading in EV adoption in India, is implementing a comprehensive strategy focusing on three pillars: accelerating EV adoption, building an ecosystem with infrastructure support, and fostering manufacturing. The ‘Jagriti Yatra Abhiyaan’ will support this strategy in high-potential cities such as Lucknow, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Ayodhya, Gorakhpur, Basti, Deoria, Bahraich, Lakhimpur, and Bareilly. Over the next two months, various marketing and customer campaigns will be conducted in these cities to raise awareness and position EVs as a viable option for both mid-mile and last-mile adoption.

Revfin is significantly contributing to the development of the EV ecosystem in Uttar Pradesh by empowering women and expanding its reach. Women constitute 23% of Revfin’s customers in the state, many of whom have achieved financial independence by using e-rickshaws for commercial purposes. With a presence in 240 cities and towns, Revfin has impacted 60 lakh lives, supported by 400 points of sale and partnerships with 30 original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). This extensive network underscores Revfin’s commitment to fostering financial inclusion and sustainable mobility across Uttar Pradesh.
