Ola Electric has introduced an update for the S1 X, adding several new features. The scooter now supports OTA (Over-the-Air) updates, allowing it to receive software updates automatically without needing a visit to the service center.
A new Vacation Mode puts the scooter into deep sleep when not in use for an extended period. Additionally, advanced regenerative braking (regen) has been introduced, which recharges the battery while the scooter is coasting. Other new features include Find My Scooter, ride statistics, and energy insights.
Deliveries of the S1 X began in May. The scooter is available with three battery options: 2 kW priced at ₹74,999, 3 kW priced at ₹84,999, and 4 kW, and ₹99,999 respectively (ex-showroom).
The 2 kWh battery pack version offers a certified range of 91 km per charge and takes about 7.4 hours to fully charge. It accelerates from 0 to 40 km/h in 4.1 seconds and has a peak power output of 6 kW from its electric motor. It provides three riding modes: Eco, Normal, and Sports, and reaches a top speed of 85 km/h.
Unlike other models, the S1 X comes with a 3.5-inch LCD screen instead of a touchscreen and uses a physical key. The 3 kWh version has the same charging time, riding modes, and features as the 2 kWh variant but offers better acceleration, top speed, and range. It accelerates from 0 to 40 km/h in 3.3 seconds, reaches a top speed of 90 km/h, and boasts a claimed range of 151 km.
