eBikeGo, India’s foremost electric vehicle rental service, is poised for substantial growth, announcing plans to scale its fleet of electric two-wheelers to over 1,00,000 vehicles by the end of the next fiscal year. With a robust presence already established in seven metropolitan cities, the company is now setting its sights on expanding operations into tier I and tier II cities nationwide.

The move comes amidst a burgeoning demand for last-mile delivery solutions, driven by a 6.4% growth rate in India’s e-commerce and direct-to-consumer delivery sectors as of Q1 2024. This surge underscores the critical need for affordable, environmentally friendly transportation solutions, as traditional fuel-powered two-wheelers contribute significantly to air pollution and carbon emissions.

Highlighting their commitment to sustainability, eBikeGo aims to replace 1,00,000 fuel-powered bikes with electric bikes by the next fiscal year, thereby preventing approximately 1,98,000 tons of carbon emissions. This initiative aligns with their mission to reduce environmental impact while meeting the escalating demand for efficient urban mobility solutions.
