Honda Announces Elite Lineup for 2024 Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Race

Honda Motor Co., Ltd. has revealed the primary teams set to compete in the prestigious 2024 FIM Endurance World Championship’s “Coca-Cola” Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Road Race. The 45th tournament will take place at the Suzuka Circuit in Mie Prefecture, Japan.

Team HRC with Japan Post

Takumi Takahashi (34, Saitama), a five-time winner aiming for a record-breaking sixth victory, will lead Team HRC. Joining him are newcomers Teppei Nagoe (26, Tokyo) and MotoGP veteran Johann Zarco (33, France). Team HRC, seeking its third consecutive win and Honda’s 30th overall victory, is expected to deliver a formidable performance.

Last year’s runners-up, SDG Team HARC-PRO., will feature Yuki Kunii (21, Tokyo), Naomichi Uramoto (29, Tokyo), and Mario Aji (20, Indonesia). The team is poised to challenge for the top spot with a mix of young talent and seasoned experience.

Aiming for another podium finish, the twice series-winning F.C.C. TSR Honda France will field regular riders Josh Hook (31, Australia), Mike Di Meglio (36, France), and Alan Techer (29, France).

Competing in the ASB1000 class, Md Zaqhwan Bin Zaidi (28, Malaysia), Andi Farid Izdihar (26, Indonesia), and Nakarin Atiratphuvapat (28, Thailand) will represent Honda Asia-Dream Racing.
