BMW M Motorsport Celebrates Global Success Across Multiple Racing Series

Over the past few weeks, BMW M Motorsport teams and drivers have achieved significant victories and podium finishes in various prestigious racing series, including the 24h Nürburgring, DTM, ADAC GT Masters, ADAC GT4 Germany, and more. Off the track, BMW’s latest EVO models of the BMW M4 GT3 and BMW M4 GT4 were unveiled at the Nürburgring, highlighting the brand’s continuous innovation.

Italian GT Championship (June 1-2): At Imola, Jens Klingmann and Jake Dennis secured a second-place finish in the Sprint Cup with the BMW M4 GT3. Despite a challenging first race, the duo’s performance in the second race showcased the car’s capabilities. In the Pro-Am class, Pedro Ebrahim and Federico Malvestiti clinched third place in the first race and celebrated a class win in the second.

Japan Cup (June 8-9): The YZ Racing team, with drivers Yuki Fujii and Masaki Kano, won the opening race of the Japan Cup at Sportsland SUGO in the BMW M4 GT4. They followed this with a third-place finish in the second race, leading the overall standings.

IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge (June 8-9): At Mid-Ohio, Turner Motorsport’s Dillon Machavern and Robert Megennis finished sixth in the BMW M4 GT4. Despite the lack of podium finishes, the team’s performance was commendable given the competitive field.

British GT Championship (May 25-26): Dan Harper and Michael Johnston achieved a sixth-place finish at Donington Park in the Century Motorsport BMW M4 GT3. Their teammates also showed strong performances, securing respectable positions in the GT3SA and GT4PA classes.

Super GT Series (June 1-2): At Suzuka, Team Studie, supported by BMW M works driver Bruno Spengler, finished seventh in the endurance race with the BMW M4 GT3.

GT4 Australia (June 1-2): The BMW M4 GT4 continued its success at The Bend Motorsport Park near Adelaide. Tim Leahey finished third in the Silver category in the first race and fourth in the second. Jacob Lawrence celebrated two class victories in the Am category, while other BMW teams secured additional podium finishes.

BTCC (May 25-26 / June 8-9): Jake Hill from Team Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport dominated at Snetterton and Thruxton, winning four out of six races and placing second in the drivers’ standings. His teammate Bobby Thompson also secured a podium finish, highlighting the BMW 330e M Sport’s performance.
