Oben Electric, a rapidly growing homegrown electric motorcycle brand, has announced its strategic expansion into major Indian markets, including the capital city Delhi, Pune, and Kerala, while also reinforcing its presence in Bengaluru. This move is part of the company’s ambitious plan to establish 50 new showrooms and service centers across 12 major cities by the end of the year.
The latest showrooms have been inaugurated in Delhi’s Pitampura and Pune’s Wakad area, positioning the brand prominently in these crucial markets. In Kerala, new dealership showrooms have opened in Kochi and Trivandrum, enhancing Oben Electric’s reach in the southern region. Additionally, new prime showroom locations have recently debuted in Bengaluru’s Banashankari, Rajajinagar, and Electronic City, complementing the existing experience center in HSR Layout. With these additions, Oben Electric now operates eight showrooms across these strategic locations.
Oben Electric’s rapid growth is driven by its flagship electric motorcycle, the Oben Rorr. Renowned as one of India’s safest electric bikes, the Rorr is powered by an 8 kW IPMSM motor, enabling it to accelerate from 0-40 kmph in just 3 seconds and reach a top speed of 100 kmph. The Rorr offers a certified range of 187 km (IDC) and incorporates innovative LFP cell technology for extended battery life and improved heat resistance, promising a thrilling and reliable ride.
