Neuron Energy, a leading manufacturer of lithium-ion batteries for electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers, has announced a strategic partnership with Hexall Motors. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the electric vehicle (EV) industry, featuring the launch of Hexall Motors’ innovative L5 category vehicle with a patented double front wheel design, the first of its kind in the world.
Approved by the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI), Hexall Motors’ new vehicle aims to revolutionize the market. Neuron Energy will supply 1,000 custom-designed battery packs to Hexall Motors over the next year, starting in June 2024. This partnership is expected to generate an annual revenue of ₹20 crore for Neuron Energy.
The supplied battery packs are 16 KWR fast charging high-speed units, specifically engineered for light commercial vehicles (LCVs). Neuron Energy has tailored these battery packs to meet the unique requirements of Hexall Motors’ new vehicle, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Neuron Energy developed a product that perfectly met our requirements, making this partnership critical for us.”
Hexall Motors’ new vehicle, set to debut in the Delhi NCR region, offers substantial cargo volume, making it an ideal choice for last-mile delivery companies, particularly for transporting electronic goods and oversized cargo. With a container depth of 8.5 feet, it stands out as one of the largest in its segment. The double front wheel design enhances stability, providing a safer and more reliable option for urban transportation.
