Ola Electric has commenced deliveries of its latest S1 X range in numerous cities nationwide. The scooter is offered in three battery configurations – 2 kWh, 3 kWh, and 4 kWh – with introductory prices set at INR 69,999, INR 84,999, and INR 99,999, respectively. The company highlights its entry into the mass market segment with competitive pricing and an extended 8-year/80,000 km battery warranty at no additional charge.
The pricing adjustments also affect the S1 Pro, S1 Air, and S1 X+ models, now priced at INR 1,29,999, INR 1,04,999, and INR 84,999, respectively. Anshul Khandelwal, Chief Marketing Officer at Ola Electric Technologies, emphasized the significance of affordability, accessibility, and ease of ownership in expanding their consumer base.
Regarding range and performance, the S1 X range offers varying distances to accommodate diverse user needs. The scooter boasts an IDC-certified range of 190 km, 143 km, and 95 km for the 4 kWh, 3 kWh, and 2 kWh variants, respectively. Equipped with a 6kW motor, it delivers rapid acceleration and offers three riding modes (Eco, Normal, and Sports) to suit different preferences seamlessly.
In addition to the extended battery warranty, Ola Electric provides customers with options to enhance coverage with add-on warranty packages. Moreover, the company introduces a portable fast charger accessory priced at INR 29,999, aiming to further support EV adoption and convenience for users.
