With over 70,000 customers and a commitment to pushing the boundaries of electric mobility, PURE EV’s collaboration with PDSL aims to cater to the evolving needs of consumers both domestically and internationally.
PDSL, recognized for delivering cutting-edge engineering and digital technology solutions to leading OEMs such as Jaguar Land Rover, Aston Martin, and Volkswagen, brings a wealth of expertise to the partnership. This collaboration is set to transform the electric mobility landscape by leveraging PDSL’s engineering prowess alongside PURE EV’s innovative electric vehicle design.
The joint venture’s primary objective is to develop a high-performance electric 2-wheeler built on a solid-state battery technology platform, targeting both international markets and the rapidly growing Indian market. The envisioned 2-wheeler boasts impressive specifications, including a mileage of 250 KM, a top speed exceeding 100 KMPH, and an AI-based power-train platform for user-friendly troubleshooting, coupled with a fast on-board charger.
Set to attract an investment ranging from £30 to 40 million, the joint venture will be headquartered at the Coventry University Technology Park in the UK. This location, nestled in the heart of the West Midlands, is renowned as a global automotive hub and a center of excellence for electric vehicle technology.
Commenting on the collaboration, Mr. Rohit Vadera, CEO of PURE EV, expressed excitement about entering the premium scooter segment and emphasized the joint venture’s commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
