Aligned with Honda’s global commitment to achieving carbon neutrality in all products and corporate activities by 2050, the Solution R&D Center embodies Honda’s strategic vision for innovation and sustainability. With a target to achieve carbon neutrality for all motorcycle products by the 2040s, Honda is spearheading initiatives to respond to electrification trends and create new value beyond conventional paradigms.
The Solution R&D Center is poised to integrate advanced mobility technologies swiftly into electrified vehicle development and focus on software and connected services. Leveraging open innovation, the center will collaborate with research and development companies to co-create innovative solutions. Moreover, capitalizing on its geographical ecosystem, the center will partner with companies to pioneer new services and businesses, transcending existing boundaries.
In line with Honda’s Triple Action to ZERO initiative, encompassing carbon neutrality, clean energy, and resource circulation, the company is committed to addressing societal challenges. This includes the effective utilization of energy and the prevention of traffic accidents, with the ultimate goal of achieving zero fatalities in traffic collisions involving Honda motorcycles and automobiles globally by 2050.
