The federal agency has placed an order for EV AR solar-powered EV charging systems to energize federal fleet vehicles at the Transportation Technology Center (TTC) in Pueblo, CO.
The acquisition, facilitated through the General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment, marks a pivotal moment in federal procurement, streamlining processes and securing optimal pricing for sustainable infrastructure solutions.
Beam Global’s EV ARC systems are revolutionizing the landscape of EV charging infrastructure. These off-grid marvels generate and store clean electricity autonomously, eliminating the need for electrical work, construction, and utility bills. Not only do they trim costs for the federal government, but they also bolster resilience by operating seamlessly during blackouts. Moreover, with an optional Emergency Power Panel, these systems can provide critical electricity to first responders in times of calamity, enhancing disaster preparedness.

This directive underscores the urgency and prioritization of a Federal Clean Electricity and Vehicle Procurement Strategy, advocating for clean and zero-emission vehicles across federal, state, local, and tribal government fleets, including the United States Postal Service.
