Log9, a company known for its advanced battery cell technology and EV Mobility Ecosystem products, has announced the rebranding of its mobility business as ‘Amphion’ — a comprehensive EV asset management company. The unveiling of Amphion took place at Day Zero 2024, Log9’s annual event.
According to the company, Amphion aims to tackle critical challenges encountered by the commercial electric vehicle (EV) industry, such as financing, data analytics, charging infrastructure, and energy efficiency. It offers solutions tailored for fleet operators and drivers, optimizing asset utilization, minimizing downtime, and ensuring cost-effective operations to facilitate a smooth transition to electric mobility.
At the event, Nexmile, a new battery designed specifically for commercial electric vehicles, was also introduced. It boasts features like 2X Longer Battery Life, 5 Year Warranty, 3X Faster Charging, and 120 Kms real-world range.
Dr. Akshay Singhal, Founder & CEO of Log9, expressed his excitement about Amphion’s launch, highlighting its potential to revolutionize various aspects of the EV industry. Kartik Hajela, Co-Founder & COO, emphasized the seamless integration that Amphion offers across different stakeholders, driving efficiency and sustainability in the EV ecosystem. Pankaj Sharma, Co-Founder of Log9, underscored the company’s dedication to innovation and positive change.
The event also featured Narayana Murthy, ex-CEO and co-founder of Infosys, as the chief guest, who shared insights on building sustainable companies based on culture and innovation.
Currently, Log9 manages around 2500 EV assets on the road, connecting 600 charging stations, and overseeing assets worth Rs 100 crore for over 150 fleets. They maintain a turnaround time of 2.7 days for servicing needs and are experiencing a growth rate of 20-30% month-on-month.
