REIL Releases Tender for Selection of Charge Point Operator (CPO) for Supplying EV Charging Equipment

Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments Limited (REIL) releases tender to select a Charge Point Operator (CPO) for tasks including Location Survey & Identification, Planning, Supply, Installation, Commissioning, Operation & Maintenance, and on-site Comprehensive Warranty for a period of 10 years. This is for establishing EV Charging Stations at NDMC sites in New Delhi.

The last date to submit the online bids is May 9, 2024, with bid opening scheduled for the following day.

 Presently, REIL has been allocated 8 locations within NDMC, New Delhi, with the potential for approximately 100 more locations to be allocated.

The scope of work includes Location Survey & Identification, Planning, Supply, Installation, Commissioning, Operation & Maintenance, and on-site Comprehensive Warranty for a 10-year period, aimed at establishing EV Charging Stations at NDMC sites in New Delhi.

The Bidder is responsible for ensuring the deployment of qualified and suitable manpower, along with the necessary tools, logistics, spares, and consumables throughout the supply, installation, commissioning, and O&M phases of EV charging stations or any related infrastructure developed under the agreement for a period of 10 years from the agreement’s signing date.

The Bidder must have achieved a minimum annual turnover of at least 43,20,000.00 in the preceding three financial years up to the bid opening date, and the company’s net worth in the last financial year (2023-24) must be positive.

The Bidder must demonstrate experience in successfully completing orders for Supply, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning (SITC) of EV chargers, which have been operational for at least one year. Within the last 7 years prior to the bid submission date, the Bidder should meet one of the following criteria:

a) Three orders of SITC of EV chargers totalling not less than 40% of the Total estimated value, i.e., 57.60 lakh rupees for the type of EV charging equipment.

b) Two orders of SITC of EV chargers totalling not less than 50% of the Total estimated value, i.e., 72.00 lakh rupees for the type of EV charging equipment.

c) One order of SITC of EV chargers totalling not less than 80% of the Total estimated value, i.e., 1.15 crore rupees for the type of EV charging equipment.
