EET Retail, the retail arm of EET Fuels, has announced the appointment of Narayan Bhatra as its Chief Executive Officer. Bhatra, previously serving as the Chief Retail Officer at Nayara Energy, India’s second-largest oil and gas company, brings over three decades of experience in the energy sector to his new role.

With plans to establish a significant portfolio of Essar-branded fuel retail outlets within three years, EET Retail aims to position itself as the UK’s “retailer of choice to consumers.” The company intends to expand its presence across all regions and markets in the UK, including potential acquisitions to accelerate growth.

Embracing the era of new mobility, EET Retail’s long-term strategy includes offering a range of low-carbon, high-quality fuels, catering to drivers’ preferences for e-mobility. These fuels will be complemented by tailored customer offerings, including non-fuel options.

Commenting on his appointment, Narayan Bhatra expressed enthusiasm for joining EET Retail, citing its clear and ambitious vision for growth. He highlighted the company’s commitment to providing low-carbon, high-quality fuels, leveraging EET Fuels’ investment in decarbonization plans and hydrogen production facilities.
