StoreDot, the trailblazer and global frontrunner in extreme fast charging (XFC) battery technology for electric vehicles (EVs), has officially inaugurated its new Advanced Technology Campus in Irvine, California.

Spanning 5,800 square feet, the state-of-the-art facility will function as StoreDot’s North American research and development hub, bolstering its presence in the region and establishing closer proximity to major automotive customers and manufacturing partners.

The strategic location of the campus provides access to a rich pool of top-tier technical and engineering talent from prestigious West Coast universities and innovative battery companies. Moreover, the robust electric vehicle and energy storage supply chain in North America enables StoreDot to explore alternative materials and suppliers for its groundbreaking XFC battery technology.

The opening of this center marks a significant stride towards the commercialization of StoreDot’s XFC technology, with the US team poised to play a pivotal role in supporting its research and development endeavors and global expansion efforts.
