Ultraviolette Automotive has announced its expansion into the European market, initiating operations in Turkey. The corporation introduced its primary product, the Ultraviolette F77 high-performance electric motorcycle, during the Motobike Istanbul 2024 exhibition hosted at the K-Rides pavilion. Manufactured in India, the F77 will be exported from the company’s facility near Bengaluru.
Partnering with Kibar Holding, a prominent conglomerate in Turkey, Ultraviolette has entrusted K-Rides, its newly established company in the two-wheeler sector, with the sales and distribution of the F77. Prospective buyers and stakeholders are invited to explore the F77. Gökhan Lokmanoğlu, Chief Corporate Development Officer of Kibar Holding, expressed excitement about introducing the F77 to the Turkish rider community in collaboration with Ultraviolette, a pioneering brand known for shaping the future of electric high-performance vehicles.
Addressing the unveiling event in Turkey, Narayan Subramaniam, CEO & Co-Founder of Ultraviolette, expressed enthusiasm about showcasing the F77 in the vibrant Turkish market. With over 190 countries expressing interest in the flagship motorcycle since its launch in 2022, the display of the F77 at MotoBike Istanbul 2024 marks a significant milestone in Ultraviolette’s global expansion strategy. The company aims to captivate motorcycle enthusiasts in Turkey with the F77’s Aviation DNA, innovative design, and exceptional performance.
Ultraviolette’s entry into the Turkish market aligns with its previous announcement of venturing into Europe this year, as revealed at EICMA 2023. Deliveries of the F77 in Europe are scheduled to commence in the second quarter of 2024.
Built to global specifications, the Ultraviolette F77 features a 30 kW (40 bhp) PMS electric motor delivering 100 Nm of torque to the rear wheel. Accelerating from 0-60 kmph in just 2.9 seconds and boasting a top speed of 152 kmph, the performance electric motorcycle is equipped with the largest battery on any electric two-wheeler in India, offering a claimed range of 307 km on a single charge.
