Toyota Motor Corporation has announced plans to sign a new agreement with Keikyu Corporation, building upon their 2020 agreement to jointly operate the development of the Shinagawa Station West Exit area. The forthcoming agreement will encompass the transfer of a portion of land within the area, as well as collaborative efforts in the construction and operation of a planned building aimed at fostering urban development.
Scheduled for completion in the fiscal year 2030, Toyota’s new Tokyo Head Office will be situated in the vicinity of the Shinagawa Station West Exit. This strategic location is expected to witness enhancements in urban functionalities, particularly with the advent of the maglev line and other forthcoming projects.
