Tata Power Leads E-Mobility Revolution in Ayodhya: Installs Charging Points Along Key Routes

Tata Power, a key player in electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, has joined hands with the Ayodhya Development Authority (ADA) to make Ayodhya EV-friendly by installing EV charging points in and around the city. This partnership aims to expedite EV adoption and encourage sustainable transportation solutions. These EV charging points were unveiled at the Collectorate Office MLCP Parking in Ayodhya, in the presence of Mr. Gaurav Dayal, Commissioner of Ayodhya, and Mr. Ashwini Pandey, Vice Chairman of ADA. Representatives from Tata Power, including Mr. Deepesh Nanda, CEO & MD of Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited, Mr. Virendra Goyal, Head of Business Development (EV), and Mr. Ramkrishna Singh, Head of Business Operations (EV), also attended the event. The ceremony’s highlights included the launch of four electric vehicles bound for major neighboring cities. This initiative strategically connects Ayodhya with nearby urban centers through the establishment of EV charging points along crucial routes such as Ayodhya to Lucknow via NH27, Ayodhya to Raebarelli via NH330, Ayodhya to Prayagraj via NH330, and Ayodhya to Gorakhpur via NH27.

These charging points will transform travel experiences for both residents and visitors, promoting the adoption of e-mobility and sustainable transport, particularly among pilgrims and tourists visiting the holy city.
