Okaya EV Chargers Partners With HPCL For 600 EV Charger Deployment

Okaya EV Chargers, a provider of electric vehicle charging solutions, has received a contract for 600 EV chargers from Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), a prominent oil and natural gas company in India.

The order includes the installation of 60KW CCS2 Dual Gun and 120KW CCS2 Dual Gun chargers at various locations nationwide, aiming to enhance accessibility and convenience for electric vehicle users across the country.

Additionally, the chargers feature a range of protective measures, including Over Voltage, Under Voltage, Over Current, Short Circuit, Surge protection, Over Temperature, Ground Fault Protection, Residual Current, and Emergency Shutdown systems with an alert function, as stated in a company press release.

These safety measures not only safeguard the durability of the charging infrastructure but also prioritize the safety of users and the surrounding environment.

The chargers hold certifications conforming to ISO 9001, 14001, and 5001 standards, and they have received evaluation and endorsement from ARAI and iCAT, both recognized government-certified organizations.

With this diverse range of chargers, Okaya EV Chargers ensure seamless electric vehicle charging, accommodating various power requirements. Okaya EV Chargers has already deployed over 3000 DC EV chargers and supplied more than 50,000 AC chargers.

Anshul Gupta, Managing Director of Okaya EV Chargers, expressed enthusiasm about securing the order from Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL). He emphasized that this highlights the increasing demand for EVs and EV charging infrastructure and underscores their role as a reliable partner in facilitating the widespread adoption of electric vehicles across India.
