Pulse Energy, a leading EV charger aggregator, has announced a strategic partnership with ChargeZone and over 20 charging networks throughout India. This collaboration aims to provide a seamless and unified EV charging experience for both individual users and fleet operators.

Under this partnership, fleet operators can now directly engage with Pulse Energy to gain access to affordable and convenient charging options across a network of 20+ charging networks spanning India. Meanwhile, individual EV users can leverage Pulse Energy’s applications, such as the InstaCharge app, to access the entire charging network, enabling them to initiate and terminate charging sessions at over 2000+ fast chargers nationwide. Pulse Energy’s initiative aligns with the development of a new open EV charging network called Unified Energy Interface, built on the foundation of ONDC.

The integration with ChargeZone further enhances Pulse Energy’s network by adding over 400 CCS2 chargers situated along major highways across the country. This expansion aims to streamline weekend trips for individual EV drivers, ensuring a hassle-free charging experience. Pulse Energy’s primary customer base includes 160 EV fleet operators and 15,000 EV drivers, who benefit from streamlined charger accessibility and reduced charging costs. Fleet drivers can initiate the charging process via WhatsApp without the need for app downloads or account credentials, contributing to high daily network utilization and reliability.

Charge Point Operators (CPOs) leveraging Pulse Energy’s platform have witnessed a 20% increase in charger utilization within just four weeks. Pulse Energy assists CPOs in identifying optimal charger deployment locations within cities, thereby driving increased traffic through the Unified Energy Interface network. Recently, Pulse Energy, along with other EV startups like Kazam, Sheru, and Turno, showcased the potential of an open energy network to influential figures like Shri Nandan Nilekanni and his team.

Kartikey Hariyani, Founder and CEO, MD of Tesco ChargeZone, emphasizes the transformative impact of the partnership, highlighting the shift towards a unified and accessible charging infrastructure. The integration of ChargeZone’s network enriches Pulse Energy’s offerings with additional CCS2 chargers, enhancing the journey experience for EV drivers.

Akhil Jayaprakash, Co-Founder at Pulse Energy, underscores the company’s mission as demand aggregators, emphasizing their role in assisting CPOs in achieving positive ROI through their SaaS platform. Jayaprakash envisions a future where EV charging becomes as ubiquitous as UPI payments, allowing users to access any charging network seamlessly through the Unified Energy Interface.
