With exports totaling close to $1 billion, constituting 30% of its annual volume, and operations spanning 80 countries, TVS Motor Company exemplifies India’s engineering excellence on a global scale. Sudarshan Venu, Managing Director of TVS Motor Company, expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister for fostering a conducive environment for innovation and growth. He reiterated the company’s pledge to invest INR 5,000 crores (USD 600 million) towards the development and deployment of future technologies and products. TVS Motor Company stands as the sole OEM in India with end-to-end in-house electric vehicle (EV) and connected capabilities, boasting over 650 EV-related patents and a team of 2,000+ engineers dedicated to advancing technologies such as material science and data science.

At the Bharat Mobility Expo, TVS Motor Company showcased its diverse product lineup, including the Norton motorcycle, an iconic brand undergoing transformation for global markets under TVS Motor’s leadership. The company’s commitment to gender diversity was highlighted with 65% of the EV battery assembly team comprising women and over 150 women engineers in research and development.
The expo also featured TVS Connected Services, which integrate smart devices for enhanced rider experience, and demonstrated the company’s sustainable manufacturing practices, including significant renewable energy usage and rainwater harvesting capabilities.
Moreover, the event showcased community interventions by the Srinivasan Service Trust, benefiting millions in rural areas, and presented e-bikes from EGO Movement.
