Greaves Retail, the retail and distribution unit of Greaves Cotton Ltd., has announced a strategic partnership with Zero21, an energy solutions company based in Hyderabad, aimed at boosting the sales and distribution of Zero21’s electric autorickshaws and associated EV spare parts. This collaboration brings Zero21’s renowned electric autorickshaws, known for their efficiency and eco-friendly features, to Greaves Retail’s multi-brand AutoEVmart stores and spares distribution network.
The partnership will see Zero21’s electric autorickshaws, including popular variants like Chalo and Teer, become more accessible through Greaves Retail’s network of over 100 AutoEVmart outlets across Tier 1, 2, and 3 markets in India. This move is expected to benefit auto drivers and last-mile delivery services, revolutionizing the landscape of Electric Three Wheelers (E3W) in the country.
Narasimha Jayakumar, CEO of Greaves Retail, expressed excitement about the partnership, highlighting its significance in promoting the widespread adoption of electric auto rickshaws. He emphasized the importance of offering customers a variety of brands to choose from, aiming to simplify decision-making and drive successful conversions.

The partnership aims to provide comprehensive solutions, including services and spare parts, leveraging Greaves’ extensive service and distribution network.
