Montra Electric, the electric vehicle (EV) brand under TI Clean Mobility (TICM), a subsidiary of Tube Investments of India, has unveiled the Montra Electric Super Auto in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, delivering the first batch to 10 customers.
To raise awareness about noise and air pollution, Montra Electric organized an EV awareness program in the city, emphasizing the positive impact of transitioning to electric vehicles.
The Super Auto, designed for last-mile transportation, has been introduced in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana, with multiple touchpoints for test rides.
The vehicle features a 10KW Lithium-Ion Battery with a certified range of 203 Kms (ARAI) and a range of 155 +/- 5 Kms per full charge. Warranty options include 3 years/1 Lac Km with an additional extended warranty choice of 2 years/50 Km.
Tirunelveli City Police Commissioner, Pa. Moorthy, commended Montra Electric for their initiative in combatting air pollution and promoting a greener future.
Piyush Pandey, Head of Marketing and Exports at Montra Electric, expressed excitement about delivering the Super Auto, emphasizing its innovative features and the potential for fuel and maintenance savings.
N Senthil Kumar, Managing Director of RR Greenline Motors, the dealer partner for Montra Electric Tirunelveli, highlighted the economic benefits for auto drivers, saving Rs 300 – 400 per day on fuel costs, and promoting faster adoption of electric vehicles.
